On one rainy evening in February of 2023, all 5 of us met and decided that it’s time put the Castro Arts District on the map. The Castro, a neighborhood of freedom, acceptance, creativity and diversity, deserves it.

We are united by one mission to bring the city and the Castro back to life after a long pandemic.

The 2021 Team
The art walk was organized by the Castro volunteers as well as professional artists. Our event photographer for December 2021 was Erick Davidson. Our logo was designed by Megan Totah Design. These fabulous folks are supported by Castro Merchant board member Zie Jennings and volunteer Katie Bush, who have taken on the duties for this event from Castro Art Walk Founder Angie Sticher.
